"How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for his own personal growth?"

About Me

My name is Sandra Hurree.   I am a fully Qualified Person Centred Counsellor, experienced in dealing with emotional struggles, helping to identify triggers,  offering one to one therapeutic counselling and support, within a comfortable, safe and confidential environment, to facilitate a therapeutic relationship between you and me, and allowing you to feel safe enough to let me into your inner world.  I offer a non-judgmental approach, as I understand the importance of respecting each and every one as an individual, and maintaining equality and diversity.  I will maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times in accordance with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy (Code of Ethics). https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/

My philosophy sees counselling as a journey of self-exploration, self-discovery, and self-awareness, where you, the client, focuses on your own experiences. It is a helping hand towards increased self-awareness, thus enabling you to build your confidence, strength and courage, to facilitate you standing on your own two feet, to trust in your own decisions and own judgements, enabling change and growth, supporting self-actualisation/self-fulfilment.

If you feel that you may be struggling to deal with your emotions day to day due to issues such as Anxiety, Stress, PTSD, Abuse, Domestic Violence, Bereavement, Depression, Hording or anything else that you may be experiencing, speaking to an experienced professional can help you through this process, by exploring and understanding your struggles, and move a step closer to overcoming the obstacles in life, achieving your goals and building your confidence and motivation, at your own pace.

As uncertain as you may feel, you have now taken the first step in obtaining the support that you need. I can offer you that therapeutic relationship, built on trust and our mutual commitment to working towards finding the answers that will set you free from the everyday, exhaustive struggles, to allow working towards a more positive outlook in life.
